Infiniti's lead enterprise architect served Application Architect for the Paid Family Leave System Led the team responsible for developing the Paid Family Leave (PFL) system. The PFL System integrates an n-tier .NET application, with SQL Server 2000, and EDD’s imaging/data capture system, and existing mainframe claims processing system. The application uses WRQ Host Integrator (an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)/middleware product) to integrate the .NET 2.0 applications with the existing legacy application. The system processes thousands of claims a day allowing claims examiners to use the .NET user interface to view images of the claims and perform distributed transactions to update the SQL Server database, mainframe IDMS database, and the Unisys imaging system. Infiniti's architect was responsible for leading the team of up to 18 consultants that implemented three major releases of the PFL system.
