Infiniti's Project Manager was responsible for a centralizing and managing a portfolio of over 30 active projects and redesign efforts related to consumer operations and customer service. As there was little or no project management infrastructure, Infiniti's Project Manager developed systems and processes to track and manage the portfolio of activities and the associated resources. This included responsibility for assessing requests for new projects, developing project plans, identifying resources and working with Executive Management to prioritize and strategize. In addition, Infiniti's Project Manager was responsible for implementing project policies, procedures, and templates that facilitated effective project delivery and management. This included risk/issue management, change management, project quality assurance, etc. Finally, Infiniti’s Project Manager was responsible for a number of business process re-design efforts, including documentation of “as-is” processes, identification of improvement opportunities, facilitation of process re-design sessions, and development of “to-be” processes. |
